6 Sep 2009 Prayer Requests
Matthew's family needs prayer for both grandparents, one who is becoming senile and being taken into his parents home (much of her stuff has to be gotten rid of and she doesn't understand) and the other has fallen and broken her hip.
Guy - pray that his employer would let him return to work, wisdom on how to respond to the injustice. Amy - healing for her illness and strength if God doesn't grant healing.
Luisa's sister is looking for a house in Philly.
Pray for the vote on Steve Corbett's call as elder to Highlands, that the Spirit would grant wisdom and that God's wise will would be done.
Pray that lots of children with soft hearts will come to the puppet show. That lots of Highlands members would volunteer to help with the show and canvassing.
Elsie is having two ear surgeries before the next small group.
Pray for one of our student's families that his dad would soften and the family would be protected and grow in Jesus.
Praise for David's job going better this year and pray for continued wisdom and growth.
Pray for Alfredo and his family to return to Highlands.
Pray for Zach to be a blessing to the children in his class.
Pray for Libby's sister to be healed of possible gallstones.
Praise that Travis' lab work is normal.

Small group tonite is at the Corbett house. I had to agree that they don't have to clean the house before small group. So, anyone who says anything gets to clean! See you there at 6. I'm bringing banana bread.

Monday Fasting and Message for Tuggy
Day of fasting tomorrow (Monday) for Rachel and the need for a wheelchair. Please join us in crying out to the Lord for mercy with this.
Also,I wanted to point out to the small group that Tuggy's feedback from last week ended up worked into the sermon, albeit clumsily. Something came out of my mouth and I remembered Tuggy's response to some of the material in last week's (?) sermon. Tuggy, or anyone else, I'm wondering if you thought it was helpful. Of course you'll have to listen to the sermon online. And if you weren't there last week, sorry I'm being cryptic.
